Eligibility

In case total receipt (contribution received from members for common services provided to

them) of Resident Welfare Association (RWA) in a financial year exceeds Twenty Lakh Rupees and 

Compliance Requirements

• In case of registered RWA, they are liable to collect GST on the amount of contribution received by it from all its members where the contribution amount per person per month exceeds INR 7500/-.
• In case, collection  does not exceed INR 7500/- RWA has to raise a Bill of Supply in prescribed Format.
• For goods / Services received from unregistered dealer exceeding INR 5000/- in a day for all the supplies, RWA has to pay GST under reverse charge and issue Self issued Tax invoice (Exempted in this FY) and Payment Voucher in the prescribed format.
• For all the input supplies of Goods and Services received by RWA, they can avail input tax credit of taxes charged on input supplies.
• RWA has to file Monthly returns showing all the input supplies as well as all the contributions received from its members.
